Madness: Project Nexus Madness: Project Nexus

Rated 4.5 / 5 stars 8 days ago

Very impressive game, however a noticed a bug in one of the stages where the guy fell down through the floor, and there I was locked from moving on to the next stage. Also. I found that often a teammate in the arena mode would just keep walking into the top or bottom of the stage without reacting to anyone around him, even if he were shot right in the face by one of those hugeass monstrosities.

I also felt a lack of content in the arena mode, and found it incredibly annoying that instead of stacking the same gun in the same slot, the shop would fill out half of the shop slots on one page with the same gun. Often it also became very graphic instense with huge rounds of lag, even on the lowest graphic setting, making it impossible to go with a meele/unarmed build.
Really impressive, but it's the small things that really would make this game outstanding.

Captain Violence Captain Violence

Great

The flash was great, although I did notice that at the fight scene (when the screen gets covered in blood) Captain Violence throws his punches in a very awkward manner. Maybe do a backswing animation?

Still the humor was great, and when the guy started loosing all his limbs, as he rapidly soured through the sky, I remembered the movie Hostel (Ya Know. The one with the Asian that pops an eyeball and white stuff flows out in steady streams)

The voice acting was also very appropriate, with a nerdy feel to, well, the nerds and a very heroic, dramatic feel to the hero; or in this case just Captain Violence ;)

Also the scene with the cop served as a nice comic relief, after the guy talked 'bout how his girl was getting mugged and stuff. 9/10

Thanks man!

I knew about the punching animation but I left it in because I felt it looked funny - I wasn't really going for realism :)

Glad you liked the voices, I was very lucky to get to work with some real pro's!
Believe it or not, all the male voices (apart from The Follicator) were performed by one man, Courtney Leacock.

Glad you liked the cartoon - Thanks for the review!

:D

A New Potential Serie?

This was totally awesome, but the best was the monologue of Jesus/whatever he is called... That reminded me, why haven't you made a flash serie with Jesus retelling bible stories (in his own gory version of course)?

Sequel?

Have you ever considered a sequel to this industrial game? Take another greedy, terrorising business foundation and make a parody game of it..PLEASE :)

Nice, horrific twist. The blackout sequence was perfectly timed, and I laughed so badly when he didn't landed on the cake :) Love the way you combine innocent cartoons, with random lame jokes, and then use the element of suprise to blow the audience away! Good job

Good one, more ball jokes pleaze :D

The dad is awesome, he made this flash serie epic. How about for a sequal make on where you see the dad making a review and the neighbours starts complaining as he sings out his ACDC songs?

Good One

I was wondering how the sequel would turn out to be.. EPIC!! Like the old madness heh. Liked the extreme amount of blood and hand-to-hand combat in this one, one of the things we havent seen to much in the other. The mutation of Hank.. Genius.. Thats all I can say.. hope to see a sequel in a near future..

Nice

Very nice.. would have been better if you had made it with your own custom original characters instead of using manga characters.. That would also had allowed you to give them lots of custom moves, making the movie more unpredictable.. Best stick animations ive ever seen though

Could be good.. "COULD" be good..

The idea is good, but the product is bad.. The bad side: My hand started hurting around level 3.. Its unnatural that a skater can accelerate in air, pushing himself forward with one foot... The physic is extremely unreal.. He skates, at full speed, around 1 inch/second.. The dude is five time bigger than his surroundings.. The good side: You have 60 seconds to finish the map which is about enough... The music is fitting... You can chose between two different vehicles...
